KITHA BALAKRISHNAN

KITHA BALAKRISHNAN started learning under her guru Smt. Kalaivani Indrakumar and went further training from Kalaimamani M. Nandini and continues to do so with Sri H.N. Bhaskar. She was a member of the national ensemble Tarang and was Orchestra leader for SAMYO (South Asian Music Youth Orchestra).Kitha Balakrishnan is one of a very limited number of British born/trained Carnatic violinists of today who is able to perform a fully fledged Carnatic concert and with the ability to accompany artists of all levels.
