MADHUSOODANAN SATCHITHANANDAN
Madhusoodanan is a flutist based in London, who specialises in Indian Classical and film music.
Madhusoodanan is the first student of “Venuganamani” P. Gnanavarathan and started learning from him in London. He has also learnt from S. Shashank and “Sikkil” Mala Chandrashekar during his brief trips to India.
Madhusoodanan performs regularly as a Solo instrumentalist and accompanying artist for Indian classical dance and film songs.
Madhusoodanan is known as a very adaptive flutist, as he is able to play different styles of music, such as Carnatic, Hindustani, Indian Cinema and contemporary music.
Madhusoodanan has accompanied many famous playback singers such as KS Chithra, Vijayaprakash, Srinivas, “Malgudi” Shuba, and many other famous musicians during their tours to the UK.
Madhusoodanan has had the honour of performing in front of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, in Puttaparthi India, in 2004, 2005 and 2007, which he considers as the greatest blessing in his life.
Madhusoodanan is also a committed teacher and teaches Carnatic flute in Harrow
